New York, Brooklyn-based artist Philip Stearns has embarked on a fascinating project entitled “High Voltage Image Making” in which he created these alien microbes-like patterns on instant film by subjecting each image to 15,000 volts of electricity.
For better visualization, a standard battery that powers a car is 12 volts. 15,000 volts is more than a thousand times of that, generated by a neon transformer.
