Woman Hospitalized to Remove Jammed Deer Tongue She Had Used To Um, You Know…
The Arkansas woman, who’s name has not been released, went to her gynecologist complaining that her discharge had a “very bad odor”. [T]he results of the pap smear were not human. During the exam, the doctor inserted his speculum, and scooped out a large piece of loose, decaying flesh.
The woman finally confessed. After her husband’s recent hunting trip, he brought home a deer and gutted and dressed it in their garage. She admitted to seeing the tongue, admired its length, and had snuck off with it to use it as a pleasuring aid.
She didn’t remember leaving it up there.
Wait…didn’t remember? Come on, people, necrophilia is no excuse for lack of basic hygiene.

Football Sized Tumor Removed from Girl’s Face
Grace, 17, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, faced eventual suffocation and had hidden herself from the outside world due to her appearance.
Her local hospital was unable to help her but her case was taken up by a Christian pastor who got her aboard a floating hospital called the Africa Mercy.
The ship is part of a group called the Mercy Ships which travel around the world performing medical procedures for those who are too poor or isolated to receive adequate treatment.
The four-hour operation involved moving the teenager’s tumor and replacing her lower jaw with titanium plates, leaving her appearance immeasurably improved. The experience has left Grace with a burning desire to study medicine.

Giant Red Kinabalu Leech Hunts and Swallows Giant Earthworm
Mimobdella buettikoferi, commonly known as the Kinabalu giant red leech, is a large bright orange-red coloured leech that is endemic to Mount Kinabalu, Borneo. It can grow to a length of 30 cm (12 in).
The Kinabalu leech feeds only on worms such as the Kinabalu giant earthworm, Pheretima darnleiensis [and] is usually seen during or after heavy downpours.
Well, never going to look at a plate of spaghetti the same way again.
That may just mean I imagine slurping down giant worms, note.
Man Turns Amputed Leg into Lamp to Sell on eBay

Leo Bonten slipped in a pool and broke his leg two years ago. [A]fter an infection, the leg had to be amputated earlier this year.
With the help of a pathologist and lamp [designer ], Bonten’s leg was transformed into what just might be the world’s most unusual lighting device, and then tried to sell the unusual object on eBay.
Bonten told NOS that he would like to keep the lamp, “but I need the money”.
Naturally, eBay, being the spoilsports they so often are, have already pulled the auction arguing it violates a rule against the sale of body parts.
The incident also triggered a disagreement (to put it mildly) between him and the hospital that performed the amputation. Traditionally amputated parts are retained by the hospital who is responsible for their disposal; failing to dispose of human tissue is in fact against Dutch law.
Eventually (obviously) Bonten prevailed, give that it’s kind of hard to argue he can’t determine the fate of his own body parts.
Although stymied by eBay, Boten hopes to sell it anyways to contribute towards the purchase of a bionic leg. Seems reasonable to me.

The only thing that could possibly make this better would be if the jewelry used real human teeth. Just saying.
